The Beard Shop
The Beard Shop comprises of a number of the Major Music mentors and supporters and have been playing together since 1995, but in recent years they have moved forward and are now regulars on the local music scene. The band enjoy playing their eclectic taste in music and support many local events not only with their music, but by offering their ‘day job’ skills and talents to help make many an event a success. Their ever growing list of covers include tracks by David Gray, Magic Numbers, Crowded House, Elbow and Eddie Vedder to name but a few.
Vocalist, James Emery is managing director of The COS Group, based in Barry, supplying a diverse range of business products and renewable energy systems.
Guitarist, Rob Holt is a Fire Fighter and local handyman/builder about town. He is a multi-talented all rounder with incredible attention to detail.
Pianist, Rob Fry is director of Pentagon Design Ltd, based in Bridgend who are responsible for the re-brand of Major Music and design and implementation of this web site.
